I’m a professional Wall Street trader and investor, and I run Marathon Money. I’ve spent years sitting down with CEOs of publicly traded companies and asking them the kinds of questions most interviewers skip. What I hear in those conversations shapes how I invest — and what I teach in these classes.
I trade this market every week with my own money. My own portfolio, my own wins, my own losses. When I teach something in a class, it’s because I’ve actually done it — in my own account, with real money on the line.
The way I approach the market is straightforward: read the filings, listen to the people running the company, make the trade, track what happens, learn from it. Same process I’ve been running for years on Wall Street, and I teach these classes the exact same way.
A few things people usually ask
Is this actually free?
Yes. You sign up, I send you the link, you show up to the class. Nothing gets billed to you, and I’m not going to pitch you at the end.
How will I know when the next class is?
I’ll email you. Every time. That’s the whole point of signing up. You’ll get the date, the time, what we’re covering, and the Zoom or Google Meet link — all in one email, usually a few days before.
What if I can’t make it live?
I’ll send you the replay. Life happens. These classes are built for people who have day jobs and families, so if you miss one, you’ll still get what I taught.
Do I need any experience?
No. If you’ve never bought a stock in your life, come. If you’ve been trading for 15 years, come. Every class is built so beginners pick up the foundations and more experienced folks still leave with something useful.
Do I need to buy anything to follow along?
Nope. If a class involves something hands-on, I’ll tell you ahead of time what to set up, and it’s always something free (like a paper trading account for practicing options).
Is this financial advice?
It’s education. I share what I do and how I think about it, but these classes aren’t personalized advice. You make your own decisions. If you want real personalized advice, work with a licensed professional.
Will you email me a bunch of stuff I don’t want?
I’ll email you about the classes and occasionally share something I think you’ll actually find useful. If it ever gets to be too much, there’s an unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email. I’d rather have you on the list for the long haul than burn you out in a month.
